Veteran NCAA coach and former NCAA Division II National Finalist Mike Savastra has faced the pressures of performing as a central figure on his own teams from a young age. He’s led multiple NCAA teams-as well as his high school alma mater-on deep championship runs. Before bringing Southern New Hampshire University (“SNHU”) to the brink of an NCAA Division II Championship in the 2002 Final Four, Mike led his hometown of Glastonbury, Connecticut to a LL CT State Championship, scoring the deciding goal against a previously unbeaten opponent. A gifted passer and scorer, Mike remains fourth all-time in his university’s history in assists. On the coaching side, Mike has helped bring NCAA Division III Worcester State a conference championship.
