Club Head Coach, Social Media Manager

It took veteran BES Club Head Coach Nick Guimaraes only 1:1 season to make an unprecedented impact on the college players under his charge. Fresh off of helping to secure his NJCAA squad’s first-ever National Tournament Bid, Region 21 and Northeast District Championship in 2024, Nick returns as a key BES leader in several areas.

Having played NCAA Division II soccer for Saint Anselm College as well as coaching and playing for one of our core communities in Haverhill, MA, Nick brings strong technical expertise in coaching various BES clubs, private lessons, camps and higher-skilled programming. His playing experience beyond college soccer is wide-ranging, including BSSL Men’s Division 1 play with Merrimack Valley United as well as time with Seacoast United and Timberwolves SC, where he was a known ball-handling and finishing power. At the youth soccer level, he’s coached right here at home in Merrimack, NH.

A four-year varsity player elected captain at Haverhill High School, Nick’s creativity and fine-tuned skills are felt far beyond the pitch. In addition to becoming a Merrimack Valley Conference Soccer All-Star, he twice earned Merrimack Valley Conference All-Star track honors. As BES’ Social Media Manager, Nick applies his business acumen off the pitch in a role he also manages for Milano Academy. In addition to these duties and his BES Club Head Coach work, he also serves as an Assistant Coach for Northern Essex Community College, who are seeking their next deep playoff run.
