Sara Murphy

Club Head Coach

Bio

Sara Murphy is a driven and passionate soccer coach who brings her experience as a case manager to the field. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Saint Anselm College, where she was also a member of the Division 2 Varsity Women’s Soccer Team from 1998 to 2002.

With over 15 years of case management experience, Sara is skilled in developing treatment plans that meet each client’s unique needs. She has a LSWA Social Work License and has worked as a Social Worker II and Emergency Response Worker II/Hotline Worker for the Department of Children and Families since 2007. Prior to that, she was a Case Specialist for the Lowell Juvenile Court from 2005 to 2007.

    • Assisted head coach in planning and executing training sessions for U9 girls soccer team.

    • Helped coach team to second place finish in local tournament.
  • North Andover Youth Soccer – 5th Grade Assistance Travel Coach (A Team)
    • Assisted head coach in organizing and running practices and games for 5th grade travel soccer team.
    • Worked with players on technical skills, tactical awareness, and team play.
    • Helped lead team to an undefeated season and league championship.
  • North Andover Youth Soccer – G2 Assistant Coach
    • Assisted head coach in organizing and running practices and games for G2 soccer team.

  • Alpha House, Manchester, NH: Service Learning, volunteered to work with at risk Hispanic-American
    • Assisted with after-school program for at-risk Hispanic-American children in Manchester
    • Worked with children on academic and social skills, as well as introducing them to the sport of soccer
